just started using php functions – a bit overdue but finally we’re making use of it. The first page we implemented them was in our “News” section which from a user’s point-of-view you wont see much difference but it enabled us to add some new features – like a “news” search (which is quite accurate 
), company-specific news items and an in-built “in the news” part which displays stocks that were refered to in each news item ex: stock updates.
Going ahead with our plans we hope to make Stockit a fully “functional” 
website for investors.
